Poetry

Every step and every word

have changed the paths of time.

Blinded by drill of plans

which have become our minds,

we think the thoughts we think are free

but are in fact contrived

of the fear controlling now:

we must fight for our lives.

For stagnant fears and binding tears

will never let us go,

unless we chose of our own will

to lose what they control.

Do not lose touch with who you were

before this we joined the ride.

For I won’t leave until I see

that independence thrives.
