Poetry

Moments will pass without a goodbye;

For just more of moments to ask reasons why,

all pass, as they go to reach to a place

which’s ground you have covered and decided you’d stay.

But once you have reached the place you once strived

you can’t help but feel you’re empty inside,

because of the moments which you once thought none,

distracting and pulling from all that you’ve won.

But all that you’ve wanted has never had room

for dream you’ve not covered in plans you’ve tattooed,

on hearts slowly beating away from the stream

of things you’ve decided and are sure you believe.

For hearts have no minds of what will be right,

or duties once honored, or pain for the fight,

but only of truths, which some never care

to handle as value above mindful blare.
